Fishing Rods There are a total of two Fishing Rods in the game they are the Bait Rod and Lure Rod. You get the Bait Rod during the story on Chapter 2 in the Fish Moster Swamp and the second can be obtained two ways. For those of you who dont know what it is equip the Lure Rod one of two fishing rods in the game and make sure to have at least two of the SAME kind of any lure attachment. Equip one onto the Lure Rod then switch. Bait is a type of item used to catch fish while fishing with the Fishing Rod in the Dark Cloud series.
When fishing the player can use specific types of bait to have an increased chance to catch specific species of fish with some fish completely ignoring or only going for certain types of bait.
